A strong partnership for year-round use in the Alps: Silvretta Montafon relies on Lindner Lintrac
Schruns. Silvretta Montafon is now working together with Lindner Traktoren. The Lintrac is a versatile specialist vehicle that performs key tasks in high-alpine terrain in both winter and summer, from trail preparation to technical maintenance. The cooperation underlines Silvretta Montafon's commitment to modern, efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
In winter, Silvretta Montafon uses the Lintrac to prepare the Kapell toboggan run as well as selected winter hiking trails on the Hochjoch. Thanks to its four-wheel steering and excellent manoeuvrability, the vehicle is particularly well suited to narrow routes and challenging terrain. The result: consistently well-prepared trails, a high level of safety and a reliable experience for winter sports enthusiasts away from the ski slopes.
The Lintrac is also an integral part of daily operations in summer. Among other tasks, it is used for mulching work on the slopes, as a transport vehicle in difficult terrain and for logistics and servicing work related to snowmaking. Equipped with a front loader and work platform, the vehicle also supports the inspection and maintenance of snowmaking equipment. For summer operations, the Lintrac is fitted with dual tyres, helping to reduce ground pressure while providing additional stability.
“The Lintrac is ideally suited to our requirements in high-alpine terrain. It is compact, powerful and extremely versatile, exactly what we need for efficient year-round operations,” says Mario Tschofen, Head of Slopes and Snowmaking at Silvretta Montafon. “With Lindner Traktoren, we have a partner that combines expertise in alpine operations with technical quality and sustainable thinking.”
The cooperation with Lindner Traktoren is another important element in the continuous development of Silvretta Montafon's infrastructure. The aim is to optimise workflows, use resources efficiently and provide reliable quality for both guests and employees, in winter and summer alike. “The cooperation with Lindner Traktoren is an important step for us in making our year-round operations in high-alpine terrain even more efficient and sustainable,” emphasises Managing Director Martin Oberhammer. “We are delighted with this partnership and our shared commitment to quality and innovation.”
Managing Director David Lindner also emphasises the importance of the cooperation: “Silvretta Montafon stands for the highest level of professionalism in alpine operations. We are therefore all the more pleased that our Lintrac can demonstrate its versatility in such a demanding environment. This cooperation is a strong example of regional partnership and technical expertise.”
