FERRARI truck loading crane

The Ferrari 540/541 truck loading crane is mounted behind the cab. The crane is mounted on a tipper frame with forward extension and bolted solidly to the vehicle frame. With the long wheelbase UNITRAC, the standard tipper with a loading area of 2.8 m can be mounted. If the crane is mounted on a short wheelbase UNITRAC, the loading area is reduced to 2.5 m. Standard equipment includes a crane control system allowing control from both sides of the vehicle, two hydraulic braces, a 370° slewing range, dual action control valves, a crane hook with 2 tons' lifting capacity, and check valves on all cylinders. The steel construction of the Ferrari crane is sand-blasted. Operation of the crane via the UNITRAC's oil engine is standard.

PALFINGER truck loading crane PK 3400

The Palfinger PK 3400 truck loading crane is mounted behind the cab. The crane is mounted on a tipper frame with forward extension and bolted solidly to the vehicle frame. With the long wheelbase UNITRAC, the standard tipper with a loading area of 2.8m can be mounted. If the crane is mounted on a short wheelbase UNITRAC, the loading surface is reduced to 2.5m. Standard equipment includes a hydraulic, dual action ejector, a fully hydraulic extension of 5.6m, power class 2,6 mt, crane boom can be folded and extended, slewing range 368°, unlockable load holding valves on the support cylinders, operating controls on both sides.Spirit level on both operating stations, all cylinders are hydraulically with double action, load holding valves on lifting, bending and push cylinders, included paintwork in RAL 2002 and crane accessories consisting of: load hook, shackle, operating hours counter with service schedule display mounted, EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton with hydr. cut out device, overload display with manometers at each operating point. The crane can be powered via the UNITRAC's oil engine as standard.

Front hydraulics

The front hydraulic system is connected to the EURO3 panel and secured with bolts. The system is powered via the dual-action hydraulic connector with floating position. It is operated with the UNITRAC's joystick. The lifting force at the drawbar is 2000kg. The lowering speed is steplessly adjustable via a throttle. An equipment relief device is available as an option. In this case, electrical power is supplied via the seven-pin socket. The equipment relief device is activated via a micro switch on the joystick. The relief pressure in the system can be altered by lowering or raising it at the same time and the pressure is displayed on the front hydraulic system pressure gauge.
